Postnatal Mummy MOT
 
I went to see Anna for a Mummy MOT about 5 months after the birth of my second child. I gained weight during and after my first pregnancy and then found I suffered from abdominal weakness during and after my second pregnancy leading to back pain. It was good to have someone knowledgeable like Anna evaluate the extent of my diastasis recti, actively talk through and demo exercises and ultimately put me on the right path to start improving my postnatal physical wellbeing.

In my mid seventies & fed up with trying to manage various pelvic floor issues, I searched the internet for help & found Anna. It has been really convenient, all sessions have been at my home. Anna has been very easy to talk to & she has a friendly & gentle manner. At the initial assessment she was very thorough & at the end recommended I start with the NHS Squeezy app, alongside some other exercises. I have found it excellent and after a couple of months I was pleased to feel some improvement.

"A problem shared is a problem halved" and Anna has definitely helped in giving me more confidence to go out and about.

Postnatal Strength Class
 
Having the input from a qualified physiotherapist is a real advantage. I haven’t seen any postnatal strength training classes before now, and this makes exercise and weight training so accessible to women who might not have felt it was suited to them.

I would definitely like to attend the class again. There's not much available with the opportunity to bring my little one so this class is invaluable. Anna is the perfect person to direct this class as she's approachable & knowledgeable. It can be very scary going into a typical gym environment as a female especially after having a baby, so to have the chance to go to this class is great.

Physio during Pregnancy & Birth Preparation
I had been putting off a Mummy MOT for a long time after some difficulties during my first birth, however I had absolutely nothing to worry about. As I am pregnant, Anna gave me really helpful exercises to prepare for my next birth and to deal with PGP. She made me feel comfortable and confident about my body and I’m excited to go back for postnatal support.
